Default DEALERSHIP TROUBLES

get this i took my bike in for its oil change and stuff and they tightened my drive belt. well they had to take the saddlebag off to do that well when i picked it up and rode home the saddle bag fell off and skidded down the road and is all f*#ked up now. so after cooling down for a few i rode the bike back up to the dealer and they ordered me a new bag. i cant beleave the incompetance of the service people!!!!!!

OOPS is not a customer satisfaction term. At least they are making it right. I wonder if they have payroll deduct for bonehead crap like that??

Funny thing is I hear horror stories from many stealer's, not just yours. Where ever you have humans working there will be human error. Like mentioned, at least they're making it right.

At least they didn't tell you they'd "fix it". [8D]

Yup, went to the local steeler to buy some bling for my first HD . It was an 89FLHTC. Very nice shade of blue as I do recall...anyhow, put the bling into the right saddle bag and thought I closed it correctly.... When I left the dealer made a couple of rights and a left then a right when I heard a strange noise behind me...The noise was coming from under a cagers front wheel where my then very nice saddle bag lid was under it slidding on the pavement
.
As for the incompitence of the Service people they at least made good with little or no further agrivation towards you!

Just my .02 for today.

That's why you learn how to do things yourself.

I use to work at pep boys. A guy there installed a set of tires and didn't bother to put the lug nuts back on all the way (or at all). Guy called shortly after from the side of the highway. Stupid people shouldn't work on things that could cause harm to others. LOL Glad they are taking care of their mistake. Wouldn't hurt to ask for a discount on something, since you had to go back in for their mistake. In my mind, there is no harm in asking.
