I bought these for my '08 Dyna and never installed. Will they work on my 2017 Road Glide? I know my bike has CanBus system, (but don't really know what that means). They are halogen.
Yes, anything is possible. It is just a simple switch with an inline fuse connected to the battery. If you want a clean look you have to spend extra for those plugs that go into your fairing and whatever.
They won't work on a Road Glide (according to Harley) but I didn't read that part, until I was finished installing then on MY '05 FLTRi. As long as you don't have fairing lowers, you'll be fine

You'l be fine, although you may have to adapt the wiring to suit your bike. They were not listed to fit my 1990 bike, but I successfully installed a set! They are not listed any longer, so you can test your pals' powers of observation by installing them on your bike.....
