Default Stupid Question?

Probably..... Ok, inside my tourpack is the zipper pocket for the owners manual etc. So, what is the mesh pocket for? My gf says a water bottle. But that doesn't explain the velcro strip attatched at the bottom of it. Hellifiknow!

I'd put a water bottle in it if I were you - if only for peace and quiet! Or use it as you feel fit. I don't have a mesh pocket in mine, but I don't mind.....

Ya know the little "switchblade knife" tool kit that has a screwdriver, couple Allen wrenches, etc that comes with a new bike? Mine was in that little mesh pocket when I got my bike. It's also the perfect size for a bottle of water.

HD is always looking for opportunities to flash their logo, and why not? You're not supposed to hide that logo inside the mesh bag. Anyway, my 2016 Limited came with a multitool in a small bag, and the bag had a long flap for closure of the bag. The flap contains a silver HD logo. If you open the flap, insert the remainder of the tool bag into the mesh pouch, and then lower the flap with the HD logo on it, it has a hook and loop strip that neatly attaches to the velcro on the outside, lower portion of the mesh bag. Looks nice and secures the multi tool to the mesh bag.

It's for oil. I think we now need to discuss what kind of oil for about twenty pages.

It's where you put your gas cap when you're filling. That's why it's MESH. So the cap can breathe. Break up with your gf IMMEDIATELY and get a new better one who knows more about motorcycles!
