Oil filter won't stay tight. Have tried locktite blue and red. After about 400 miles it becomes loose. Have checked to make sure the old rubber gasket wasn't stuck on. Out of Ideas on what the problem could be. This has happened with the last 3 filters.
I'd start by getting a new filter. Could well be off-spec with regards to the threads, letting it slip on the threads of the adaptor.
I'd also look at the adapter it screws into. The part is cheap, if I had any doubts about it, I'd replace it. Part number 26041-05a I believe.
When I remounted the filter I'd use a sharpie or marker and draw a small line across the filter and the mount, so I could see if it was rotating when coming loose, or popping loose by skipping down the threads.
I'd consider using a hose clamp on the filter and some wire to safety wire the filter in place if it was somehow mysteriously unthreading itself.

Both of these two solutions are exactly what I'd do. I've never heard of this happening on a car or a motorcycle, though I suppose it can happen. The loctite solution is definitely not the correct one though, that's for sure.
Tell us about what filter type/brand you are using. I myself prefer K&N as I feel they are at least as good if not better than HD plus can usually be had cheaper from local auto parts store. I also prefer the nut (17MM I believe) on the end thus not having to get it off with an oil filter wrench which can be hateful, especially if one has a chrome voltage regulator cover.
Something isn't right .. I have never had a oil filter come lose.. never.. I have several bikes with high miles.. one with 76 k on it.. you can get a k&n filter along with the hex it has a hole to safety wire it so it can't rotate.. But as others have note something else is causing this
