Progressive Drop In front shocks on Street Glide
I just added bitchin bagger shocks in the rear, have a low profile seat, which has me almost flat foot, but not completely. Just want more control especially when riding 2 up and being stabile on my feet.
Any help would be great. Thanks!
- Remove brake calipers, wheel and fender.
- Remove lock cylinder and trim piece.
- I've used a large open end wrench (1 1/4 I think) to remove the upper fork caps.
- Loosen the fork pinch bolt and slide the fork down a few inches and then tighten the clamp.
- Loosen the upper fork cap just a little
- Loosen the fork pinch bolt and pull the fork out.
- Carefully remove the fork cap (under spring pressure) and remove the sping.
- Dump the fluid out, being careful not to dump the diverter valve out. If you do, make sure you put it back in. Ask me how I know this.
- Install the springs per Progressive's instructions.
