Hello forum. I been using the forum for a few years now and found answers to most of my questions but now I am having an issue and c ant seem to find an answer to on the forums. My 2014 ultra limited engine temperature code is active. I have replaced the sensor and the code won't clear. I'm at a loss as to what to look for next. I don't want to tear into the wiring if someone else has run into this and have the solution already. So here I am.

 

Stupid question, but did you clear the code and it came back or did you think that replacing the sensor would automatically clear the code on its own?

 

I attmpted to clear the code but came right back.

 

Mostly likely is a wiring issue. I would get the wiring diagram and check continuity of the wires to start with.
