when i contacted Sena the additional wind sock was their reply. I tried it and it didnt seem to help enough to fix the issue. I might have to fashion some sort of mini ping pong paddle as a wind break on the outside of the mike boom. Or maybe try a thicker foam cover.

This is a pic of one of the winsock covers from the link I posted. Notice it is a closed cell cover that goes over the original foam windsock, blocking wind from all directions except from the direction facing the selective opening.
