if i can replace the 1157 rear lights on my 2010 Street Glide using LED's in the rear without damaging anything or do i have to use some kind of module????
You will not need a module for your bike. If needed and the lights blink fast after installation. Just turn on your hazards for about ten seconds then turn off all good. I have just LED's in the rear signals on my bike without a module. All is fine.
Mine blinked fast upon install and did above no problem. Custom Dynamics said if I install lights on the front signals too, then I would need a module.

Ha ha.. Yes i liked the first answer and thought that's the ticket, then i saw the next . So looks like a call to Custom is in order.

In fact, certain bikes do need a module and certain bikes don't! I believe on a 2010 a module is recommended, although many people do not mind the faster blinking that is characteristic of not using a load equalizer; in fact is can be even more noticeable and therfore safer that way.
Custon Dynamics is the way to go as Giacomo already stated. According to their site, the 2010 Stret Glide requires the load equalizer, but you can call and ask about the less expensive set up without the load eq and what the effects will be. The recommended kit is shown below:
