I’m torn between the wolf 1 and the full thrashin setup this winter. The wolf one is about 600 more but I’ve never used them to see it they are 600 nicer. I have used a thrashin setup on a previous ride and was very pleased with it.
both costs include gauge relocation and extended wires for the gauges.
The setup is looking great. I always envy people who can do their own work.
If I had an SG, I definitely would not have spent the extra cash for the top triple tree. On the RG, however, it looks a little rough and the extra expense was worth it.
I saw a video from Laidlaw HD that shows a top triple tree prototype cover from RSD, it looks pretty good.
Interesting enough, it proves that a cable clutch can be converted to a hydraulic, which I was certain, but had never seen. Most of my top tree is still under the inner fairing. That RSD cover looks nice, but I like the exposed and mechanical look of the exposed tree. I only do my own work because I don't trust others to care about my life as much as I do.

I can't say for certain between both, but the Kraus set up I got is top tier quality. My set up was a little less because it's a Street Glide and I didn't get the top clamp, but at $1k for what I got, I'm thoroughly impressed. I look at it like this; while you're riding, that bar is in your face. Get something you won't think twice about, because you'll be looking at it a lot.
I really had no intension of going with a T bar set up. I only did it out of necessity because of the cartridges I was installing. now that it is partially on the bike, all second guessing it is gone and I'm really happy with the way it looks and feels.
Haven't done much to it. New bracket and windshield are here but I think I'm gonna need to hand it off to someone that knows what they're doing to take it across the finish line - fairing is going to need a lot of trimming and I'm afraid of screwing up the drilling of the holes for the windshield to mount on. For now, until I get back to work, just enjoying it as-is.

You haven't finished the fairing yet? My goodness, ya slacker! I guess I had not considered the finish work going into it. I don't blame you though, screwing it up would suck.

Ness has their own "Method" kit as well that eliminates the requirement of removing the ignition and doing the CVO flash.

Wish they offered a set without the gauge pods. Ive been waiting almost 2 years for Lucky Daves to quit screwing around and get around to producing their Heavy Hitter T bar setup for baggers. They were the only ones I knew that offered a T bar style setup for baggers without removing the ignition and CVO flash.

I'll get new mirrors tomorrow and I lost my heated grips. They don't fit on these bars. I'll test ride tonight. But, the Kraus parts are in place and the install was clean.

Those look really nice! I'm normally not as big of a fan of t-bars on a Street Glide as I am on a Road Glide, but I dig those. Let us know your thoughts on performance once you drive it!

Speed kings and west coast Tbars make bars you dont need to do the CVO flash on. I have the speed kings bars. It wont go all the way over to lock though so you do lose that.
Also, the CVO flash takes like 10 min, is free or like $10, so I wouldnt let that scare you away from anything.
The CVO flash took about 10 minutes and the dealer wouldn't even take my money, just shook my hand.
Onto the bars. Took a little adjustment to roll them where I liked them, but they feel solid. I'm going to have to get used to them. The turns felt like it took more effort to turn, but it felt more stable, in that I wasn't adding unwanted movement into the bars. I felt it in my shoulders even after a short ride. The wrist angle is pretty neutral, but I think overall, it's going to take some getting used to. I got the Kahuna grips without heat and new mirrors today. Also splurged and got the RokForm perch mount, vibration dampener, and new phone case. Seeing as I lost my BOOM, I'd like to have navigation as an option if I need it. I'll post better pics within the next day or two. I work and it's been crazy.
