Performance baggers
Good luck on the front end man, I highly doubt youll be disappointed.
Crap, well youre only halfway screwed though because its your toy fund.
I try to be reasonable and only blow on large 4-5k purchases a couple of times a year.
This year I was unreasonable 🤣. I bought 2 Harleys, wrecked one, rebuilt it, scissored the crank, bought another while I decide what to do it with that one now that I think its cursed. So I basically blown 4 times my toy budgets for the year with 1 road trip left this year and 3 planned for next year already.
Thank god for separate bank accounts and working overtime whenever I want to make up for it 😂😂
Now I gotta somehow locat a prodigy rear wheel and determine iif Im building a 124 in Texas winter (February) just just leaving it as is with a 475 cam.
I'll be curious to know what you think of the GP cartridges when you get some miles on them. I went with the 30mm BBP Ohlins, and they're good, but I'm always looking for something better......
The only downside is that I have 28" wide handlebars, which are reasonably narrow, because of this it's difficult to see objects that are directly behind me. I'm looking for mirrors with longer stems to resolve that issue.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I have the T Rex plate and the 10" straight risers installed. Did that yesterday. Tightened the neck bearings too. But no matter how hard I try, I can get it to 4cm swing or too tight. I can't hit the 6cm swing I was wanting. The adjustment was getting so tight it felt like it wasn't moving, but pressure on it changed the swing to too tight, so I had to back it off.
Here's where I'm at with it. The apes on there were so I could move the bike. I'm not leaving it this way. The MX bar is in powder coat getting the cherry red treatment. From test fitting everything, I have more pull back than with the apes, and the hand position is going to be more narrow, but slightly higher. Funny, enough, that's exactly what I was hoping I could get my apes to do. So fingers crossed, but my hands feel like they're going to be exactly where I wanted them to be.
The setup is looking great. I always envy people who can do their own work.
If I had an SG, I definitely would not have spent the extra cash for the top triple tree. On the RG, however, it looks a little rough and the extra expense was worth it.
I saw a video from Laidlaw HD that shows a top triple tree prototype cover from RSD, it looks pretty good.
