Who is running what for floorboards?
I want to move my feet BACK closer to mids (without spending the money for actual mids)
theres a lot of wasted real estate closer to the derby cover as the pic shows. I usually ride around with my toes on the board and the rest hanging off. Want more coverage to the back.
it looks like thrashin are nice but only move back 1?....Arlen ness look very long in the back but I need to measure. Boosted brad as well. Whatre you guys running and how do you like them? For $500ish they better be good and useful lol.
Here is my post from the tall rider thread. If you were to put them all the way towards the back I think you would be very happy with the outcome. They are longer than the oem boards also. 1" may not sound like much but it does make a huge difference.

I've got the Joker Machine boards on mine. They are pretty much the size and location of stock, but I really like them. Coming from the Dyna side as well, I was used to running "mids" and I've gotten used to the floor boards of the bagger now. But when I'm in the twisties, I tend to move my feet onto the boards more like mid controls.
Thanks guys. I see the Thrashin ones get a lot of praise. and they look nice....I just dont know if 1" is worth $500 (thats what she said?)
Too bad you cant try them before you buy lol.
I did find out the Arlen Ness MX boards and Boosted Brad boards are 3" longer in the rear which I'm thinking is more like it! Of course I like the looks of the Thrashin the best lol...
Let me see if I'm tracking, but if I was to run +2 upfront and 14's in the rear I would need a short or mid length exhaust? I'm stuck between the ThunderHeader or D&D Bobcat.
get a sound clip of the bike after cam install up. interested to hear the difference a good cam choise makes in the idle. nice selections. waiting for my comp cam set up to come in.
