Default Security Pager

My 2013 has the factory security system. At this time it doesn't have the matching siren. But I have the Harley Pager from my old bike. Will the pager work without the smart siren? And if I add the radio shack siren with the pager work with it?

The pager is independent of the siren. It works with the security system whether you have a siren or not. When the alarm is activated, deactivated or tripped, the pager is "notified".

Now, the pager for your old bike will have to be synced to the security system of your new bike. The steps should be outlined in the manual for your pager.

I think you have to have the HD siren installed to use the HD pagers. I believe thats what the antenna on their siren is for, for communicating with the pagers. I know it syncs with the bikes security system, but I think it communicates thru the siren... You might just want to be sure, before buying anything else... but thats the way I understood it worked.

After reading about it, I believe you are correct. You must have the HD siren for the pager to function. My apologies if I gave misleading information.
