im pretty excited to ride it, the service manager told me all the changes they made since 02 was frame, swing arm, front forks, 4 puck brembo brakes, lighter clutch a long with the 96/6 speed
even though i have not rode it i did notice it didnt vibrate as much when idling compared to the 02 RK i had
adjust clutch basket. 20,000mi comp should be ok. if you run it to park head first. when you back it out pull clutch lever all the way and back out. this will seperate the clutch plates and soften the the clunk.
report from the inspection completed by the HD service department
was told 20k service, F/R tires, F/R brakes, clutch adjustment, belt drive adjustment, shaky fairing due to bad brackets, cap on brake reservoir need replaced, flush brake fluid
i asked if the bike look like it was ever down or in any incidents was told the floor board bottoms are showing mild scaring but where there at its not from aggressive turning bike maybe has been tipped or possibly from doing maintenance putting blocks under there while lifting? who knows?
a test ride had not been done i asked if they could to make sure there isnt any engine/trans or suspension issues waiting to hear back
looking good so far (fingers crossed)

It’s a good looking bike. I was tempted to mention about the fairing brackets, cause that and the compensator have been the only issues I’ve had with mine. I recently went with the Baker compensator and I also replaced the brackets with the Alloy Art Strong Arms. So far so good with those upgrades.
why is the front fender missing the Ultra Classic logo on the side?
its a Electra Glide classic standard FLHTC/I so it dont come with the tour pak, fender badges, oil temp & air temp gauges and the engine case is grey far as i can tell at this point, might be missing other stuff to not sure?
when it was purchased he had the dealer install the tour pak with quick release
Just another happy ‘08 Ultra owner with 38,000 trouble free miles. Only had the usual maintenance items replaced so far. I’m really enjoying this model after having owned three other Harley’s. Just buy it and don’t look back.
When when you book it the model is actually FLHT/ Electra Glide standard. It will book lower than the FLHTC/I. Just saying.

Looks like a FLHT (standard) came without a tour Pak , P/O added a Utra tour pak...
Fairing brackets should be replaced, Compensator might act up eventually, get a Baker if it does...some owners get the dreaded inner primary bearing but it’s not that hard to work on these.. get you a used manual, basic tools, you’ll be able to do a lot...
