I dont like the looks of the fender, but its not my sled its going on. I as well wonder how well the paint will hold up with it hugging the tire so close. I thinking lots of scratches and dings from road debris.

Sno, I have had a similar hugger fender by Klockwerks on both my Street Glides. No cutouts and the edges are not as ornate. VERY happy with the part...no problems with paint dsmage, I don' care if the trend gets old, I simply prefer the look! All in, with the adapters, I paid about the same, and I painted, cut, and buffed it myself. No cost out of immediate pocket for materials.

Put it on your bike when you can, I think you're gonna like it...a lot!
