I've got the Shore fire covers on my '17 RG. Black with the silver flames, well made and fit perfectly. Padded and lined with some soft material. I don't think it will damage the paint.
One thing I would prefer, both Saddleman and Mustang are bad for this, and those are 'no logo' products.
I have a Mustang seat and was looking at their lid covers but they all have a big Mustang advert heat stamped into the vinyl spoiling them.
If I've already bought the product, it should be my choice or they should pay me to advertize their brand. If there is a choice, I always go for the no logo brand.
I recommend getting TBags saddle bag covers. They are solid, not stretchy, therefore they will never crease or curl. Mine look as good now as when I bought them 3 years ago.
i just had my lids repainted and bought a set of the mustang ones my wife kicks the sh#t out of my lids, they appear to be a very nice product i dont like the look so much but scratched lids look even worse
