I have a 2017 SGS. As I brake in slowing to a stop, I get the sensation of pulsing or bucking from the machine. It’s the same whether I’m in neutral or if I am in gear with the catch engaged.
Is it the brakes? I have never experieneced this issue on any other bike. If it is inherent in a Harley, I can live with it, but if it’s an easy fix, I’d like to know.
I just picked up my bike with this same issue. It was more evident if I just used the hand brake when slowing down. Using both hand and foot, it was barely detected. 1 warped rotor covered under warrenty
I had something similar with my 17 FLHR. The right front rotor would rotate fore and aft if you grabbed it like a steering wheel and turned it. The dealership changed it out under warranty and all is good.
Harley brake rotors are complete crap. Expect to have to replace the front rotors more than once if you rely on OEM, and keep the bike for any length of time.
