We were there the past 3 days, and I thought it really sucked compared to previous years. There is a noticable lack of vendors, builders, and everything compared to the past years. Traffic was about the same, people traffic was about the same..........but the attractions to bring people there are missing.

Oh well.............next year we'll try Myrtle Beach and see how that compares.

I was up there today at the Weirs...used to go regularly back in the day...weather was great, rode up from south of Boston @ 7 am, just got back...man, that place is DEAD!! compared to just 6-7 years ago. Was talking to a vendoe who concurred, he said his company aint even comming back next year sales were so slow. He also said that the vendor permit fees went way up this year and it really ticked him off...used to be on Sun morn all the parking lots(Christmas Island, Naswa,etc)..looked like a war zone with cans and trash everywhere..this mornin on the way in you wouldn't of known there was even a rally this week if it wasn't for the signs and banners...oh well...

since I am in Texas now I wasnt able to go... But we hardly went to Wiers... We would stay in Littleton and ride a couple days then take off to Lake George (friend owns a hotel there) and ride there a few more days.... Wiers hasn't been worth it for a few years now....

Well, I went also. 10th year in a row. Smaller crowds, fewer vendors, and still had a blast. Its all what you make of it.

I used to go every year.........for about 15 in a row. Then I quit (same crap, different year). Last year the wife and I took a ride up so she could see the deal during bike week (she'd never seen it during the rally). I don't feel bad for the vendors at all! They screwed themselves as far as I'm concerned. Waaaaaaaaay over inflated prices on cheap crap! Nasty attitudes.............the usual tourista trap bull! We did have a great time, like Maddogs said, it's all what ya make of it! When we went last year, it was my 1st trip in at least 15 years...........I was overwhelmed with the amount of vendors and how much the whole thing has spread out all over! Maybe it's better with "fewer vendors!" Anyway, hope everyone had fun and made it back safe!
