You couldn't be more right about the typical Honda dealer. As much as all bikers complain about the "stealers" one of biggest things Harleys have going for them is their dealers. I have gotten more help when out on the road with my Goldwing from Harley dealers than I have from Honda dealers. Every town of any size has a Harley dealer with friendly staff eager to help anyway they can regardless what you drove in on. The typical Honda dealer (especially in smaller towns) sells dirt bikes and 4-wheelers and isn't much interested in helpin a brother out unless you came in to buy something off the showroom.
