12 “ Yaffe Monkey bars 2018 CVO Limited
Has anyone put 12” Yaffe Monkey Bars on 2018 cvo Limited? Do you need to lengthen clutch & throttle and wire Extensions? Any help would be great. I seen the post for 10” 2017 cvo

I would definitely talk to your HD Shop Super to get the particular information. To my knowledge, they have not changed the 18's from the 17's and the cut off point to NOT need the cables extended is 10". Been through the exact same thing w/my 2017 SGSpecial. I even tried to talk myself out of the Yaffe bars since I knew pulling wire through the bars were going to be a pain. Here's one for you...the new bikes don't even run their wires through the bars, only the throttle cable. Both the left/right electronic cables are zip tied to the outside of the bars. You will need the extensions to your wires when changing bars and I'm afraid cables as well. Be sure the check with the guys at the HD Dealership just to be sure (measure twice theory). I still went with the Yaffe bars even though I worked for hours to get the wires through the bars. I knew I was going to be looking at these bars a lot and I just preferred the Yaffe's over the smooth curves.

I originally had the 12” batwings that dealer recommended on 17 Street Glide Special and the 12” Yaffes can be done but you need to have extensions done. Any larger and it requires rerunning cables.
