Default Security System Pager II Question

Is there a special trick to getting this Pager IIto work?

The manual is short and sweet and easy to follow, but each time I try and activate the Pager,

it doesn't activate like the manual states.

Any help is appreciated.

Right now, it's just a nice paperweight!!!! [:@][:@]

I have a 2006 U/C.

Is your bike equiped with smart siren or smart siren 2? It won't work with the smart siren.

Cache... I'm with you! Got the pager for Father's Day and have tried to sync the pager to the alarm system with no luck at all (07 CVO Ultra w/smart siren). Got the pager cycling its lights, turn the bike from OFF to IGN then back to OFF (in many variations), pager times out then wait a minute or so and nadda...nuttin...zippo.

I don't know what problem you are having since you don't say what it is doing.

All I do is turn mine on. When you activate the security system on the bike the pager should chirp. If you turn the pager on after the alarm is already on then the pager will not sync up immediately.....

Important points are: It must be paired to your bikes security system. Tells how in the manual. I had it installed at the dealer so I have not had to do this.

You must have the Smart Siren II installed for the pager to work.

When you first arm the system both green lights will flash showing positive reception with the bike. After one hour only one light will flash. The bike stops sending the signal after one hour to prevent battery drain. If you are still in range then you will get a page if the alarm goes off but if you are out of range you will have no way to know. The only way around this is to go out to the bike every hour and turn the alarm system off and on again.......

I suspect that the behavior will be different for '07 vs earlier. Mine is an '03 and so the alarm does not go on and off automatically from the proxmity of the key fob. I don't know for sure but I thought that did not start until '07.....

I have an '06 RK and mine was very simple. Once I installed the Smart Siren II the pagersync'd right up with the bike/alarm.

I get it now.....you need the Siren to go with it!!!! Go figure! Another expense!

Typical HD set-up....[:'(]...just another disappointment! Can't they make sh*t right?

Didn't want the siren....just want to know when someone's is efn with my bike!

The pager manual says nothing about requiring asiren!!!!

I guess par for the course! My expectations are too high for this company!

The Smart Siren II is the transmitter that transmits the signal to the Pager II along with it also being a siren. Yes as always with the MOCO, you get to spend hundreds of dollars. I've had mine for over a year and it works great on my '06 RK.

When you install the smart siren, make sure you don't clip off the antenna.
When syncing the pager to the bike, ya have to do the push button thing before the lights on the pager flash 5 times. If ya wait past that, no syncy, no beepy
