I ordered everything online last. Isn’t - drag specialties upper and lower bushings (half price compared with H.D.), as well as the James Gasket oil seal kit - everything I need for under $40 shipped to my door. If anyone needs them I can post up the part numbers.

Good job glad you're happy with any luck I'll be doing mine tomorrow I won't be able to test ride due to the weather in Michigan but at least it will be ready for when I get a chance. Found out there's a swap meet next weekend maybe go and look for a new seat

You adjust the preload with the older mono tubes with clips or spacers. The newer ones have an internal preload adjustment i believe. I would caution going too heavy on the spring only. The front end gets considerably firm real fast and you dont want to get jarred at every small square edged bumped. I am 250 runing monotubes in a 2010 rk with only one clip in them and they are just right.
