Certainly looks possible in the photo above.

On my 2016, there are 4 bolts and about an inch of movement without any drilling....

As you can see by the pic, I could slide that tour-pak to the rear about an inch, but the wife likes it where it is.....

No you can't, it is all the way to the rear in the pic; I tired that.

On my 2010 UC, I was able to move my tour pack back 3" for the price of 12" of 1" x 1" aluminum angle. I did have to drill new holes and grind some plastic off the bottom of the tourpak to allow it to go back. There is the problem of a gap behind the passenger seat.

Me too, I loosened the bolts and try to pull it back, no go.

I recently bought the bike and I almost tried it....

I saw the bolts and was thinking I could move it backwards. I asked my wife if she wanted more room.... she said she had more room than on my '12 Limited, and was happy the way it was..... Lucky me...

I'm glad now she didn't say, "Yeah, could you move it back an inch?" She'd be thinking I'm such a moron right about now....

I moved mine with a kit from DK Customs and it is great. My middle son loves to ride with me sometimes. He's autistic and cannot ride his own. He's a big boy at 6'4" and 275lbs so he needs the extra room.
My wife now hops on and has gobs of room but, and here's the thing. I have the grab bars that your knees usually bend over. My wife is 5'3" and those grab bars dig into the back of her calves and knee. Her legs then stick out at a funny angle to relieve it. So if you have a short passenger and the hand holds think again.
