Both good options. Thanks for the links. While I like the JP bracket as it slides, once I install it I am sure it will be left at it's most rearward position forever so the DK bracket looks like it would work just fine for me. Ill be ordering the bracket and floorboard extensions soon.
Assuming you don't have a rushmore bike this is what the TP looks like without the liner. Before you spend any money make sure it's in the holes that place it to the rear. It's only 1" but it might make a difference.

I looks like from the pic on the parts page (see link below) that you could drill holes forward from where they are now to move the pac back. I am going to check my tomorrow and see if it is possible.
