I'm not asking for opinions, I'm asking for opinions from those who have actually compared more than one of these on a Road King and comment on any differences
The tops look very similar, the Klockwerks though seems to be a little different at the bottom with a different cutout on the outer edge at the bottom. They claim to push more air out away from the rider and with a downward force
I know several have either of the ones listed, but I would like for someone to comment that has actually tried a vs. b or maybe a Youtube link
I have two Klockwerks Flare windshields on Road Kings. One on my sons 06 and another on my 08. They work extremely well and do a good job of pushing the air up and over your helmet. I have well over 60,000 miles behind mine with no issues.
I purchased a Freedom Shield for my Softail after a friend of mine got one for his 09 Road King. I have riden his bike on a few occasions and can not tell the difference between his Freedom and my Klockwerks windshields while riding.
Freedom shields are thicker than the Klockwerks shields, their edges are polished and with a similar recurve to the Klockwerks they also do an excellent job of pushing the air up and over your helmet. Also, being Acrylic vs polycarbonate you can polish out fine scratches
Personally I like the Freedom shield better than the Klockwerks but you will not be disappointed with either choice
I put a LRS on my FLHR before I put a fairing on it. The LRS is about an inch narrower then the OEM. Recurve works great but I thought I got more wind noise with it...
