lower seat

I'm looking for a seat option for my 2009 ultra classic , I need to lower it with out sacrificing comfort with a more narrow front so I can place my feet on the ground , is there an inexpensive way to do this . I called mean city cycles and they said that cant lower the 2009 something about the seat pan ? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

C & C Motorcycle Seats

I have a 2009 Street Glide and I ordered a C & C that puts me one inch lower and one inch back then added a AirHawk and I'm good in the saddle all day long. Ride Safe!

Another vote for C & C Seats .... for whatever reason I can’t upload a picture of my bike with the seat but it definitely allows you to sit lower & back off the tank

Hey jsewell396, I have a MINT Danny Gray Solo seat that will definitely place you lower. It's a very nice leather (not vinyl) seat. Very comfortable, I'm 5'7" and this seat allows me to be full-planted on my 2013 FLTRX which has a 21" front wheel. If interested, pm me for details.

I have a 2010 Ultra and needed exactly what you described. I had C&C make me a seat that sits me lower and has a tapered nose. Their seats are top quality and they have excellent customer service.

Jsewell, are you looking for a solo or for a 2 up?? That will help with the suggestions as well.

Try a stock Road King or Road King Classic seat from the same year as your bike. They are pretty comfy and can be had on Craigslist for $100-$150 bucks.
