My 2010 Street glide stock seat Pan was the same way. I found a used 2011 stock seat for a song, which has a different pan designation and sent it to Mean City for lowering. Maybe call Lori back at Mean City and see what year would work for your bike?

The Street Glide seats look cool but the ride sucks. I bought one from a guy on CL and put it on my Road King. Looked good but felt like sitting on a brick. Took it right off and put it back up on CL

As one of the previous posters mentioned, I would suggest at least having a conversation with someone at Mean City Cycles. This is what they do, plus adding comfort. GL.
