Hi!
I have an idea of changing seat for a different look (lower and back) and driving position on a 2009 FLHTCU. I need a lower position and a little bit moved backwards because of long feet. I was considering the Le Pera Outcast seat, with backrest.
Has anyone used or is using currently this seat on a EG? I would need some advice. Thanks!
May need to get a lower 'shield,to go with it. Both LePera and C&C make seats for taller riders, both are lower than stock by about 1 1/2 in. minimum. Just had a new shield put on the Road King (Clearview recurve)and had it cut lower in anticipation of the C&C seat that will go on it. Call the maker, they can tell you how much difference in height, leg room,to expect.
I asked Lepera.com about diferences and they sent me pictures of the regular Outcast and the Daddy Day long model. Here you can see the diference (+2")
Also they mentioned that there is not diference for leg room between stock seat and Outcast. So I might go on Daddy Day long...
Maybe someone interested. Ride safe!
I went with the LePera daddy longlegs...very pleased with rider position and quality. I'm 5'-10"
Ditto! Went with the Lepera Maverick "daddy long legs" as well. 5'11", wanted to sit lower or "in the bike" and further back. Great seat, well made, and a nice cushy seat area for the OL!!
I'm running LePera Outcast DDL seat with backrest and I love it. Next year I will get it re-covered in leather. At 6'1" I needed more legroom and the DDL gave me that.
