Just installed 120 r motor
2006 flhtcuse just installed 120r in bike and the starter is really dragging battery is good. Did not have any starter issuesprior to the install. Is the stovk starter got enough juice for the new motor?

I ran into the same thing with my own recently installed 120. I will be installing a new lithium ion battery with a lot more available cranking power. Hopefully that will cure the problem.Even with the acr's, the bigger motor is gonna be harder to turn over than the old 96.

With a brand new engine it will be harder to start, but get easier once it has run in for a while. However a high performance 120" engine is pumping a great deal more air than a bone stock 88 or 96, so will place more strain on your starter.
I have an older bike and installed an S&S 107" engine. The stock starter lasted a while, but eventually gave up and so I replaced it with a beefier one. I also replaced the stock battery cables with beefier ones, to pass more power when starting.
