Default Road king problems
Well today is the day I see if the dealer is gonna make me happy. I have an 88 FXRS and an 07 Road King Classic that I got 1/26. It has 1400 miles and spent 41 days in the dealer service deptfor 5 visits for a myriad of problems, mostly from severe vibration at idle and buzz in floorboards at cruise. High heat from motor,oil leak @ regulator wire,valve train noise,noisey transmission, inop fuel warning light too. Has stage1, screaming eagle slip on's. Dealer added a race tuner to try to resolve vibration issues, but it is still a P.O.S. I demo'ed 3 RHC's that were stock and was happy with the ride. So I take it in today for to see if they will take it back and give me a stock new bike..they keep telling me they will "make me happy"....the proof will be in the puddin' Wish me luck!

Well, not happy yet....Dealer said he would take my bike in trade and give me a new one for $2200.....I called the factory to get them involved , so it will be a long drawn out affair I am sure.......Wish I never bought this pig.

Sorry to hear your mishaps....They should give you a new bike period with your current mods andmaybe some extras. 1400 miles??? This is unexceptable.

Dealer still "thinking about it" actually felt pretty good after talking to the factory, they did "stir the pot @ the dealer.......but, as I said before, the proof will be in the puddin'
