Wind screen question

If you want to cut it down this is what I do.
Tape both sides of the shield with masking tape. This protects it during the cutting stage.
Make a template of the shape and height you want using poster board or some kind of light cardboard.
Trace the shape onto one side of the shield with a sharpie.
You can cut it with a jig saw but a band saw is better. It will take about a minute.
When it's cut I take a file to the edges using light pressure. Then a bit of work with some fine sandpaper.
Pull the tape, fine tune the edge and yer done.
That's it. And you can't tell I cut it myself.

Suggestions wanted: 2017 Ltd (per image) with stock seat. 6-0 rider and 5-8 passenger. Stock shield isn't cutting it...the buffeting gets rough. Neither of us wants to have a huge shield (as in tall or wide) out front. Obviously staying with a look-over design and height. Aesthetics matter, but not trying to get an aggressive look. Think touring.

LRS runs sales pretty often and even when not still cheaper than any others. CS is awesome. This link says up to 60% off. Once you ride with a flip shield you will wonder what took you so long.
