To Todd67 and Hattitude I appreciate the feedback and info. I don't have an M8 and haven't spent any time in that section of the forum so I'm not all that familiar with the new bikes. I love to read this stuff though for my own information

I read most of the thread Todd-67 referenced and after glancing through over 500 posts on that thread, the only one that stated they had a claim denied was Psyshack and his bike was heavily modified with a cams, tuner, intake and exhaust. After reading his posts, it looks like he is one of the unfortunate few that got a bad motor. But even though the MOCO said no, his dealer stood up and did the right thing.

In the post Hattitude references there is a poll for people that had a claim denied. That poll has been open three months and only two people said they had a claim denied and one of those was Psyshack. With all the people on the forum, only two is really nothing.

I still stand by my statement that the MOCO "CAN" void the warranty but that it would be extremely rare and unlikely. Psychack, although he got a crappy motor and his warranty is voided for future work, still got the engine rebuilt for free by the dealer.

I do appreciate the education on the HD crack down forced by the EPA on the new models. No wonder new sales are falling off. I've had the thought to look harder at the new M8 bikes but I'll keep my 2013 Limited. I feel like Mad Max and the last of the V8's. I have the last year of the air cooled Limited's and love it.
