If costs isn't the big thing, then hotrod the bike and go for something that will build between 120HP and 135HP. That will come from a well built 107" kit, a 113" OR 124"kit, but be forwarned the latter sizeof 113"& 124" willeach require splitting the cases. That also means more $$$, so keep in mind you can only get what you pay for. I'd also say you should discard the importance of making the 100/100 club as that stigma is over rated. You need to do some serious work to get your bike there, and at that point it's not about nickels and dimes, it's about netting a result of serious power and tire shredding torque. Most people that shoot for big power aren't trying to make the club, their trying to make their bikes hard to hold onto, and for me...that's where the fun starts.
My bike is due to be dyno'd in a few weeks from now and should make north of 120HP/120TQ, but that only comes after the expense of a 10K build. Sure you can spend less, but i'd probably offer that the need for speed will normally not stop when the cash stops flowing. As a few people here on the site told me, build the biggest, baddest, tire shredding mill you can, cause settling for less when you have the bug, will only have you coming back for more later, and that usually means spending money twice to do some things over again.
Power is only settled with dollars when it comes to Harleys. Hope that doesn't come off sounding the wrong way, but too many people put too much on the 100 club thing. Build what you like, and buy whatever you can afford. A good breather, some mid range cams, and some head porting will get you into the 90/100 range if you're on a budget, and that can be lots of fun too! If you have a budget you can work with, post it here and a few can likely give you some sound advice, or help you spend your money.
