I get a EIP code when I turn my key on my 04 heritage softail..can't find what that code is..please help..also..if my stem I'd bad what are the bike symptoms and what caused it?? Thanks in advance for ANY knowledge concerning my issues..Cory
The TIP code sometimes looks like EIP on the odometer screen. Its the bank angle sensor that shuts off the engine when the bike goes past a certain angle, like if you were to drop it in a parking lot or something.
Try cycling the ignition a few times. If that doesnt take care of it, you can pull the main fuse and let the bike sit for a few minutes to reset everything. You can also look up where the TSSM is and make sure that its connected properly.
