I've been known to be wrong before. But from what I've been told. 11 they were stock. When I bought the 11 I asked about them because of the mileage that was on it when I bought it used.
Done with our weather yet? More snow Wednesday.
Yes! Sick of the snow. Although I have a maple syrup business and this cold snap is keeping the trees from budding.
None of the prices are bad. I agree, skip #1. And the other 2, go with the one that draws you most. Personally I would go for stock one, then make it my own.

Yep your wrong, my 09 has them and I think he is right, they started in 07.

See that. Lol. Bad way to start the day. But it's ok. I can be wrong and I'll own that ****. So today was not a waste. I learned 07 was first year for the hydraulic cam tensioners.
My opinion would be option 3 as well.
While cams are technically engine work they're basically a parts swap. I would not run for that reason.
In fact I bought my used bike, an 07 Ultra, with basically that same set up and am very pleased with the cams. All work was done by a local HD dealer including a welded and trued crank (another story for another day) and they built a strong, reliable engine. Just saying that not all dealers or mechanics are bad.
Always have wanted a RG to the point I was going to change My Ultra Fairing to a Shark Nose but got talked out of it due to all the Headaches involved,so sold the Ultra and am in pursuit of a RoadGlide.Found these three and want some Valued Advice on these Three:

#3... you'd spend MORE than $1k on the upgrades... and you say you "trust" the installation
$9grand in CASH... might swing the deal, but unless the seller needs the money, or garage space... don't **** him off,

#3, pay the man, unless you can visually see you are going to have to dump money in it like tires, service, etc. If that is the case, then haggle.
I have a 04 a 10 and a 12 CVO ROADGLIDE. $9,500 would not acquire a single one of them.
get what you want, life is short and you can't take it with you.
I'd look hard at #3. Skip #1, I had an 2008 nice bike but the new frame is worth the difference. But Color matters to me, so which one do you like better?
