i was surprised to see that even with different year bikes they take different amounts of oil. And that's just my for the FXSTC. You really do need the manual, it will tell ya all you need. Unless someone on here has your exact model bike and year they cant really say how much fluids to put in. And i wouldnt trust it if you do get responses here from anyone that doesnt have your exact model and year bike.

I would say you ok with those numbers, but I would wait until somebody with a 2012 manual chimes in.

I just assumed all 103" motors from start to finish were the same capacities, in touring bikes.

Don't have either manual or owners manual.

Hopefully someone can confirm. Thanks to all!

I think all the 2012 touring models with the stock 103 engine are the same on capacities when changing fluids.

Manual:
initial 3 qt. in engine then fill as needed to attain proper level.
38 oz. in primary unless the cover is removed
28 oz. in trans and add as needed to attain proper level

I have a 2012 FLHTK
I put 3 quarts in the engine and adjust as needed.
38 ounces in the primary
1 quart in the transmission.

63,000 miles on it so far.

Owners manual is downloadable for free from H-D.com, all you need is the VIN number.
