An acquaintance of mine works for Valvoline. When I asked about getting me oil at a discount he commented that Valvoline sells the identical product for other retailers to repackage. If I buy their stuff on sale I can prolly get it cheaper than he can get Valvoline.
Supertech Synthetic is most likely excellent stuff, I suspect.
I would always put a quart in the primary, then someone mentioned that if you put the required amount which is one 36 ounces. A quart and a cup, it will make a big difference in getting your bike in neutral. It worked for me.
I use to think if I really wanted something done right take it to a shop, but the longer I have a bike the more I realize its the opposite, if you want something done right, get a manual and diy. Ive seen some horrible work done by good mechanics and its because they get in too big of a hurry. Forget to put oil back in after an oil change. Forgot to tighten the handlebars, forgot to put an o ring on ect. always them forgetting to button something back up right, and with motorcycles that becomes a big deal when your on the road. Ive also seen scratches and greasy finger prints left all over. I have Indys put new tires on my bike thats about it.

I have a quart of reline and 4 ounces of m1 50 weight.....(wasn't about to blow coin on a bath oil when I have a perfect synthetic doing nothing.
On the brake fluid change, I did mine for the first time ever this year, I purchase the speed bleeder kit made it a easy job, just make sure you cover the bike with a cheap plastic drop cloth or something, that brake fluid is not good for your paint, I didn't spill a drop but you never know. Did my buddies also.
Thumbs up on the redline primary and tranny fluid have been running it for years in a couple different bikes. Going t be using redline 20w60 when I switch to syn in about 600 miles.
