shifter fell off going down the road!!!

Think most everyone has had the problem.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I just put loctite and tightened it down.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; So far so good. This also my second set of shifters. Lost my first ones on I-495 in DC.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; AND NO WAY was I going to try and recover them there
nope, never had the problem. a little pm now and again and still holding fine after 21,000 miles.&nbsp\\; but if you do, and you end up stripping the splines on the shaft, it is an easy and cheap replacement part.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; buddy of mine bought the shaft at sturgis hd for 17.00 course he spent a hundred and something on the new billet shift levers... lol

+1 loctite everything. i carry it in my toolbag. same thing happened to my friend and another friend ran over it.
