Default ABS Definitive Answer

Hey folks...Does anyone have a definitive answer as to whether the ABS hydraulic unit on a 2010 FLHX does or does not self test and cycle itself when the bike is first started or if the brakes are not applied in a certain period of time from start up?

Thanks

ABS self test - simply checks for opens/shorts, and lamp will flash until a few MPH is achieved & sensors report proper even front & rear rotation. They do not activate/cycle unless skid conditions are met, and lockup is imminent.

Your abs light should come on when you start your bike and go off when you hit about 3 mph. Means your system is working fine including your sensor.

Switch point is at 8kmh/5mph.Abs will not engage at speeds below this at any time!
