Sooooo. I'm sure I will get flamed here but here goes. I have read all the posts about different oils. All 10 million of them. I have decieded to go with Mobil 1 V twin for the crank case, Redline for the tranny, but I'm still on the fence for the primary. So I would like to see who uses what in the primary.
Mobil 1 VTwin in the engine
Mobil 1 75w90 gear oil in the trans
HD Formula Plus in the primary although in a pinch I'd probably use any dino 10W40 or 20W50 oil. The primary don't need no expensive synthetic. It's just keeping the primary chain and clutch plates lubricated and cool.
