i installed the harley flush mount gas cap and fuel guage on my electra-king and it looked great...the bad news is: if your bike is in the rain, the crack around the cap allows water to enter the area between the O-ring and the bezel...this is not a problem until you remove the cap at the gas station...when you remove the cap, the water that was trapped, enters your fuel tank...im careful now, to put a rag over it before the rain starts...FYI

Good to know. I plan on getting them. I still will, I will just be careful of the water. Any trouble installing them?

it was easy to install and looks great...im just suprised that the moco didnt go a bit further in the design, to keep the water out.

It is my understanding that the HD and Kuryakyn units are the same pieces. Can anyone confirm this?

We have a customer who is also using these same caps and he has reported the same problem. They look good though...
