I had my stock seat done by Mean City Cycles. About two years ago. No complaints. Great value. The changes made are a positive. I know a lot of the seats out there. Corbin, Mustang, Ultimate seat and all the stock variations. I don't get a sore back anymore. Great sitting position. Very comfortable. Issues are. Long rides *** gets hot. I can get about 1.25 to 1.5 and it's time to take a brake. Am I expecting too much. Is there any seat that is better with the heat? Or is where I am at kinda normal? What I have done so far. Sheep skin on seat. Removed cat. Got a tuner. Have ward fans. High flow air cleaner. Also applied heat tape under buttox area by battery. Helped a lot. 2011 Electra Glide Limited...Thoughts? Thanks.
Some people like sheepskin but you might be better off with something between you and the seat that lets air flow through. Harley makes one that works ok that I use but there might be better out there.
1 to 1.5 hrs in the saddle and you need to get off....... thats a problem.... ive a corbin... only seat that has allowed me to ride for as long as i want with zero discomfort...

Corbin, get leather for your ***, and your mind will thank you. Ridden in 110+ degree heat in SoCal for hours, and the only thing that was not wet from sweat was my ***.
I used the air circulator pad from Harley on my stock seat and it worked great to prevent swamp ***. I now have a leather Corbin seat. Had one on my last bike, and as hbsoldier3 says in the previous post, the leather is MUCH cooler to ride on.
$10 bucks on Amazon. Taxi beads. Fit right on the seat with no cutting. I used small bungies to attach it. Even has a slot for drivers back rest.
Comfy, you don't feel the beads and lets air flow.
Passes the it's hot as %$#@ here in Florida test.
Corbin now has an air cooled Dual Tour. Comes with a fan and air vents fore and aft. Due to a heavy exposure to black mold I haven't been able to try it outyet but have heard no complaints. Corbin claims 15* temp drop over ambient air temps. We shall see.
