Wow, a lot of people added stuff while I edited my post... getting slow in my old age...

If you want to keep yours, then do as some have said, price the new one for a quick sale. You'll avoid making who knows how many payments, waiting for it to sell...

As I added to my last post....

You aren't the first one, and damn sure won't be the last one, to go through something like this.... you'll be fine!

I will be going to the dealership tomorrow. I want them to throw numbers my way about what they can and will be able to do. I will not..... I repeat.... WILL NOT be taking either bike with me in hopes that'll prevent any rash decision on my part since they wont take a trade without actually seeing the bike(s) first. I guess that'll be my second step in this process. The first step being reaching out to this community, of course.

would you consider a take over payment scenario?? I would be down with that....my credit is excellent, what would it take? a few hours at a bank?

I would much rather get it completely out of my hair all together and relieve myself of that credit risk. I would be more than happy to sell you the bike. If your credit is excellent and you can make payments, getting a loan shouldn't be a problem?

I vote for getting rid of it as quick as you can. No amount of $$ is worth walking out in that garage and being reminded of her every time you see it.
