Can someone please tell me how the durability is on the small bottles of texture black engine paint? I'm particularly interested in long term durability when used on damaged unpolished cylinder fin edges? I wash frequently and use Harley Engine Brightener at least monthly. Thanks
Nobody has used the touch up long term and can comment on wash and wear durability? seems like less and lighter coats blends much better but Im concerned about about long term wear and tear? Thanks
Patience is not an issue and my application looks fine. What I'm trying to find out is about long term durability.
You started the thread and then came back and wondered why no one had answered yet...after only 44 minutes. It was Friday night. It was the start of the weekend and also 4/20. Im guessing most people werent glued to the forum. It sometimes takes weeks to build a thread with solid replies and reviews. Patience.
Ive only used the HD spray can of wrinkle black to repaint a few parts and it held up just as good as expected, I dont see why the touch up paint would be any different if your prep was done corrrctly. Hope this helps.

What cygnus51 said.
Now then. Yes, I have used this stuff, and it has as good a durability over the past year as any other brush on paint would have. Hasn't flaked off, looks invisible against the other paint on the engine. I keep it in the frig when not using it to keep it from going bad.
Try it, what have you got to lose. And it's gonna take a few minutes for it to dry, so try to not get all angsted up about that!
