Who has experience with recurve windshields on a Road King Classic? I have a 2003 RKC that I replaced the windshield on a while back and went with 14" Memphis Shades screen. Since that original install, I put on a police seat with air ride. I love it but I tend to sit higher. My bikes is black and everything else is chrome so I was thinking of perhaps a smoked windshield similar to that the CVO's but figure if I'm buying a second screen why not go with a recurve. What does everyone think as far as that? I don't mind wind buffering too much and the 14" current screen is good but a lower one will add to it hence the idea of a recurve.
I have a 2017 King. I'm 5-8", 30 inseam and settled on a 17" re-curved Clearshield. Its just below my line of sight and with the fork fangs, no buffeting and very nice pocket of air till around 75. The stock one was 21 " ..
I recently put an LRS recurve, medium tint, 16” shield on my 99 RK, and I love it. I have had 3 LRS recurve shields on 3 different bikes, and I highly recommend them.
I recommend the light or medium tint - I think the dark tint might be too dark for any riding at night.
I have found that the best deal you can get on an LRS shield = Call LRS directly, I think the last one I ordered I called and spoke to Matt, and he was very helpful in selecting the shield.

Its from Clearview Shields https://www.clearviewshields.com/ I went through two different heights to find the right one. Settled on 19" I'll try and find or take a side shot of it too for ya.
I have the 17" one I didn't use too. It was only used for one ride..

I had an 07 FLHRS, Road King Custom, with a 7 hole across the front, wind deflector.
Long Ride Shields made a custom recurve shield for me, to fit my HD frame, and of the
proper height for me. That was some years ago, so now with all their improvements in
design and manufacturing, I am sure LRS can help you out.
P.S. It also helped that I live in Sparks Nevada, they can do anything you need.
The LRS is easily the best bang for the buck. I have a klock werks billboard flare because I like the width, and the curves. Of course it offers great protection.
