Default RK Special shock question

Looking at putting a set of Premium shocks on my 2013 Road King. Want the 12” version, (vertically challenged). Have a line on a set off of a 2018 Road King Special. Anybody know if those are the 12” or 13” version?

I am vertically challenged myself (5'6"...ok 5'5" without my shoes). I bought the RKS in March and I can tell you I am on the ***** of my feet at a stop. If I more "stand up" I can just about get my feet flat with my boots on. No modifications to the bike. I was on setting 0 on the shocks I just found out after adjusting to "4". I know this sounds crazy and you may not believe me but at my height, every mm in length, I can feel in reach. I felt a difference in the height of the bike just going to 4. Not too tall to feel like I can control the bike at a stop, but I can tell you it is the only touring bike I am able to reach the ground on. Love having my RKS! But do be prepared for a bit harsher ride. On big bumps, I would bottom out on 0. Have not bottomed out on 4 yet and the ride is slightly better. Good luck, and maybe check out seat options before suspension?

Thanks for the replies. I had them on my Road Glide Special and liked them. I feel they are an improvement over the stock air shocks. If I had the $ I would get some Progressive or if I won the lottery Ohlins. Unfortunately now that I have the wife's bike to take care of as well as my own my discretionary toy money has decreased!

Check the classifieds on here and ebay if that doesn't work. A lot of us take them off to upgrade to something else. I am holding on to mine to put back on the bike when I am done with it but most seem to sell them to offset the cost of the new ones.
