I know, I know...already been asked
A couple things guys and gals, just finishing building my 09 electra. I am having trouble getting the adjustable push rods to quiet down. Followed S&S directions exactly. Still loud. Have put about 50 miles on them trying to break them in. Suggestions?
Now for the build...next friday it gets dyno tuned. Any idea how the following will test out?
S&S 106" big bore
S&S 90cc super stock heads 2" exhaust, 1.65" intake. Racing gasket (thinner)
S&S .635 easy start cams, gear drive
Magnaflow true X high flow exhaust, with Vance and Hines slip on with baffles
Screaming eagle 58mm throttle body, 5.3gps injectors
Screaming eagle 58mm heavy breather
Well let's hear from ya'll

You may just have a noisier valve train now due to the high lift cams. Gear drive requires a crank within .003 runout. Being an 09, unless you did crank work you’re probably not in spec. That can make things noisier as well. Did you check gear lash and all when you were assembling?
