So to start I have a stock 07 Electra Glide with mostly stock add-ons. Planning to add an aftermarket amp and lower fairing speakers in the near future. Im happy with the stock head unit and the ability to play my music from my phone through the aux port as well as the cd/fm players.
I am adding a full face helmet for me and the Mrs soon and also want to add a couple of wireless intercom headsets, what are my options to play the music from the stock head through the headsets wirelessly if possible? Also to be able to answer and make calls through the headset wirelessly would be a plus.
Im familiar with the Sena products and they appear to be pretty solid.
Harley makes a bluetooth interface, which is a start as you will need bluetooth for any wireless headset. Ironcross audio will also install a bluetooth port in the back of your head unit. Then Sena as well as others make headsets that interface with your phone and others via intercom. I have the Sena 20s and only use my phone. I can make/receive calls and listen to music. Ironcross offers a setup that allows you to use your bike's controls. Too much to get into on this page but it's a start for you to look. Lots of threads on this topic. Search the audio section. Lots a smart people there.
