I have a 08 UC and my current setup is stock HK head unit with RF 300x2 and Polk MM651's. I am wanting to add an aftermarket head unit. My question is will I lose my helmet to helmet intercom with the aftermarket head unit? Thanks

GP, I have a decent stereo, speakers, and amp in my truck also. It also has a Pioneer BT3200 HU that has a an equalizer and several functions that greatly improve the sound over the stock Chevy hu that was in it. I figured the same would be true with changing the stock HK HU. Personally the set up I have on my scooter doesn't impress me. It distorts very early and is not a very clean sound. I was hoping an aftermarket HU would complement the amp and speakers.

Same exact set up I have.

That just doesn't seem right, after I sell my HD HU, HD XM module, Ultra Wiring harness and buy all the new stuff I'll probably come out a head and have a better set up with more features?
We don't use the headsets unless we are on long trips. Then it is the "did you see that".... "look at that".. "wow that was cute", "I gotta pee".. "how much longer" kind of conversation. I must admit I do like the piped in tunes when cruising long runs.

All the more reason to get rid of them. And DON'T tell her your new head unit has a remote control. LOL
Most any decent BT headset will interface with the BT capabilities of the head unit so you're good there. Check out J&M, Sena, Chatterbox, etc. headsets.
