Default 2nd Kury license frame broken

I got to the end of a 250 mile ride this weekend and discovered my license plate gone. This is the second kuryakyn frame after the first one broke. Has anyone had theirs replaced with just having the mounting tabs left? I am going to give it one more shot since I like the frame so much and I here they are using thicker metal now.

Hogman, I noticed mine vibrating badly when I first installed it. I took a piece of 3/4" rubber air line about 4" long and cut it in half length wise. Then I took one half and wedged it up under the plate holder until it was snug. I have over 3,000 miles since the install and everything is still holding together just like new. Might try this next time.

Ride Safe,

Mike

I put some velcro on the back side of mine just in case it falls off there is some hope of it staying on until i notice it. So far it eliminated some of the vibration that is causing it to break.

I quite buying from them years ago. I think their quality has gone down from what it was in the 90's.

I put some adhesive foam in addition to the supplied piece and all it did was wear a spot on the paint. Have to ride back home tomorrow. Just hope I don't get stopped.
