i have an 07 ultra classic with rineharts on it for 2500 miles and now i have the rear cylinder exhaust tip turning purple....the front side of the motor iexhaust tip is jet black..why the difference?

There is another post on this subject, do a search on Rinehart. It I am not mistaken, it has been said that this is a manufacturing flaw and Bub (makers of Rinehart's) is aware of the problem and maybe already corrected. Anyway, I think they will send you new free replacement tips.

Yep, call Bub, had them on my 03 and one turned a rose color, and have seen posts where they aso turn kinda an orange color. It is the anodizing and Bub replaced mine free a couple of years ago.
